Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of salengine.io (the "Service"), operated by Immersive Productions Group of Georgia, LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

1. Intended use

salengine.io is a customer relationship CRM designed for permission-based one-to-one business communication with your own customers, opted-in leads, and existing business contacts. Users send personalized emails from their own connected mailbox (e.g. Outlook via OAuth). salengine.io is not a bulk email marketing platform and is not intended for cold outreach at scale.

2. Consent and lawful basis

You are solely responsible for ensuring that, for every recipient you contact through salengine.io, you have a lawful basis to do so under all applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), GDPR and PECR (EU/UK), and any local equivalents. This includes obtaining prior consent where required, honoring opt-outs promptly, and maintaining records of consent.

3. Prohibited sending practices

You must not use salengine.io to:

Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), chain letters, or pyramid-scheme content;
Send to purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended, or otherwise non-consented recipient lists;
Send to recipients who have unsubscribed, complained, or otherwise indicated they do not wish to be contacted;
Use deceptive subject lines, forged headers, or misleading sender identities;
Omit a functioning unsubscribe mechanism or fail to honor unsubscribe requests promptly;
Use false or misleading "from", "to", "reply-to", or routing information.

4. Prohibited content and industries

You must not use salengine.io to promote, sell, or distribute:

Illegal goods, services, or content in any jurisdiction where the recipient resides;
Adult content, escort services, or sexually explicit material;
Gambling, lotteries, or sweepstakes not compliant with local law;
Firearms, weapons, ammunition, or explosives;
Controlled substances, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia;
Tobacco, vaping, or cannabis products where restricted by law;
Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, or work-from-home offers of unclear legitimacy;
High-risk financial products, cryptocurrency trading signals, ICOs, or unregistered securities;
Payday loans, debt-relief, credit-repair, or predatory lending offers;
Counterfeit goods, pirated media, or content that infringes intellectual property;
Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or discrimination against protected groups;
Malware, phishing, credential harvesting, or any form of fraud.

5. Technical restrictions

You must not:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service;
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization;
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service;
Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or other technical controls;
Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated means beyond documented APIs;
Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a hosted service.

6. Account integrity

You must not:

Create accounts using false identity or on behalf of someone without their authorization;
Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access;
Use the Service to violate the rights (including privacy and publicity rights) of any person.

7. Enforcement

We monitor for compliance and investigate reports of abuse. Where we detect or receive credible reports of AUP violations, we may — without prior notice — suspend sending, throttle activity, disable features, or terminate the account. Serious or repeated violations will result in permanent termination. We cooperate with law enforcement and email deliverability partners (e.g. mailbox providers, blocklist operators) as required.

8. Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using salengine.io in violation of this AUP, please report it to support@salengine.io with the subject "AUP report" and as much detail as possible (sender, recipient, message content, headers if available). We investigate every credible report.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP as laws, industry standards, or the Service evolve. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
